How we handle your email address.
FLÕ is operated by FLO BALANCE PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore. This notice explains what we collect when you join our waitlist, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
Only your email address, and only when you type it into the waitlist form and submit it.
We do not ask for your name, address, phone number, date of birth or payment details. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies on this site.
Two technical notes, for completeness. Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of delivering the site. This site loads a typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google may log your IP address as part of that request.
Why we collect it
To send you our weekly email on performance and balance, and to tell you when FLÕ is available. That is the whole purpose. We will not use your address for anything else without asking you first.
Your consent
By submitting the form you consent to us contacting you for the purposes above. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see Your rights below.
Who else can see it
We use third-party service providers to store the list and send the emails. They process your address on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- Netlify — hosts this website and receives waitlist submissions
- Klaviyo — will be used to store the list and send the weekly email
We do not sell, rent or trade your email address. We will not share it with anyone else except where we are required to by law.
Where it is stored
Our service providers operate servers outside Singapore, including in the United States, so your email address will be transferred and stored overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure providers we use offer a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If we abandon the project we will delete the list.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used
- Correct anything that is inaccurate
- Withdraw your consent and stop contacting you
- Delete your email address from our records
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly and we will action it. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the timeframes required by the PDPA.
Keeping it secure
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to the list is restricted to the people who need it, which at present is one person. No system is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong in a way that affects you.
Children
This site and our products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email.
